90s meet and greet
YEAH Dance
A few weeks ago we had the privilege of hosting the dance for the homeschool group of Stevens Point. It was a pleasure to work with the teens as they made plans for decor, food, the dj, and the event over all. It was a rustic western themed event. Since our space has a vintage feel, it was perfect. DJ Ryan Bair of Dance with Dignity, kept the group dancing the night away, they did not tire! Over all there were about 80 teens who participted and maybe 12 chaperones. They also had a photographer, Katie of Love Never Fails Photography, she did an excellent job! Stevens Point is so fortunate to have a group like this one, it’s called the CHAT Home school group if you are looking to connect. Our family has been a part of this group since 2006. Even though we no longer home school, we love teaching the kids art, taking family photos of our home school friends, and now we are excited to share a space like this for their dance!
It was a pleasure to be a safe environment for this group. It was lots of fun and laughs. We look forward to doing it again next year!
Onward!
The Rose House has officially entered a new phase. We have been cleared post construction, our capacity has been established. The proper documents have been noted and we are now entirely and officially open!
After following through with all the protocols we kicked off our Grand opening with a ribbon cutting from the Chamber of Commerce.
And then began the preparations for the grand opening. Deliveries and set ups began. The hustle was exciting.
And then the guests came. It was a perfect celebration.
There were so many moments and wonderful people who celebrated beyond what these photos shared. We are so glad for the memories. Thank you!
Grand Opening!
I realize I am skipping some valuable blog posts about the remodeling. But this is finally what we’ve all been waiting for! The grand opening is THIS Saturday from 3:00-9:00, there will be a cash bar and light appetizers. All are welcome to stop in and see the space. We are excited to share it live and in person.
For now, here are some quick photos of how it looks today. Better than we could have ever imagined!
Each of these photos have so much more to the story. There are so many people to thank! I want to take the time to thank each one, but at this late hour having been preparing all day I am afraid I will miss some of you who are all so dear to me. You know who you are! Thank you. See you Saturday!
