Thanks for checking in on us, we always appreciate it. We just wanted to take a minute to share some new products we have in our gift shop. They are from a company called Iron Orchid Designs and they allow for some amazing DIY! Check out their page here: ironorchiddesigns.com

There is so much I could tell you about these products that I don’t even know where to start. I suppose I will begin with what we have enjoyed doing. Which is playing with a product called “transfers” these come in a variety of styles and designs, and they can go on wood, metal, glass, maybe even plastic (?)

What we have been having the most fun with is sharing these with you through workshops! Of course you can make your own amazing pieces, and we love to see them. But if you want to test it out you can participate in a workshop.

The first one we did was coat hooks and that is what I will share with you here :-)

Prior to the class I treated the wood and painted it a base color:

Then everyone selected the transfers they wanted to apply

Then we cut and prepped the transfers for the rack.

Then we chatted, worked, and drank coffee until we had something to show for it!

Once everything was finished we sealed it and applied hooks!

It was a small class, but so much fun! We look forward to doing it again.
