Time is always flying! I have so much to tell you, but never take enough time to write it down. And if you ask me about it, it’s too much so I keep it short. I guess someday maybe I’ll write a memoir, lol.
Last time I wrote we were just getting ready to kick off our Thursday Nights at the Rose House and now we are in the second month of them! We are having lots of fun. The first one was definitely a most loved, it was a wine tasting. We had 5 wineries represented. Upstream Cider, which is a local Cider. Rushford Meadery and Wine out of Omro, Half Moon Hill from Hartford, and Moon Dancer from Abbotsford, and of course our very own Sunset Point. We had some delicious appetizers, in particular cheeses from Feltz Dairy who donated them to our event (please thank them for being so generous!).
Each winery had a fairly large variety of wines to sample. The $10 tickets bought you 8 samples, so you could go an choose the samples of choice which was nice because if all you were interested in was white wines, you could do that.
It was a pleasant night and I am happy have photos to share photos. In September we also had an Art show which I hope to write about separately and Packer Night. Now in October we kicked it off with Old Time Brass Polka, this week Guy.Ev.Ski, which is like a bluegrassy jazz, and we will end with a farm to table dinner we are working to organize with the Market on Strongs.
Anyway, here are some photos from the wine tasting :-)
As you can see it was a sweet time! If you wish you made it but didn’t, we still have their wine for sale in our gift shop and at our bar. You can come by any Thursday night for a glass. Thanks for reading!
