It’s the middle of Summer and life is so good! This is Rosalind writing, wanting to wish you all only the best of sunshine, lazy days, family fun, and a little mix of getting things done.

At the Rose House, events are subtly making their way back and we love it! At the same time we have now found ourselves unsure of who we are. We started out as a space for weddings and events and ultimately that is what we are. Our goals as a venue are summarized in a few key words: Celebration | History | Art | Community

What we do is always meant to fall in those areas, that is what makes us happy, that is what we are built on. Then COVID 19 came into place and we found that our goals (although still our goals) had to alter without our venue setting, and if we wanted to be able to come back to that we would temporarily have to try a few other things. So we added the pizza and the donuts. Which have been so much fun! Every week for about 18 months we had a different pizza special, we had our 9 basic pizzas and a total of about 60 different specials! That is crazy and fun, we loved it all. And the donuts make people so happy, and also bring so much celebration. But now COVID has started to diminish, events are happening, and we are being pulled in too many directions. So, in order to do things well, we have made a difficult decision, basically, we can confirm, we are not a pizza place. With that said, I am sorry to report, that our Thursday night curbside pizza parties will be coming to a close. Our last regular Thursday night curbside pizza party will be August 26, 2021. If you have coupons or a punch card, you have until then to utilize them on a Thursday night. You can also use them for your own private party at the Rose House, because we will gladly make pizza’s for any and all of your celebrations. We also do hope to have a pop up pizza in September and perhaps again in October.

We do have a few other upcoming changes, they are all very exciting, but we will wait to announce them in the next blog!
